Piedmont Region is the territory where most of the vines are of red grapes, including NEBBIOLO, an original vine considered of value and BARBERA of which cultivation extends over the wider territory. Our CASTELLANO produced with red grapes from the hilly Langhe and Asti area is full of personality and represents a classic Piedmontese red table wine with its refined tannins
Vino rosso CASTELLANO
Our CASTELLANO began to be produced in the early 1980s. Franco Valsania began the production of wine, which could be bottled and stored in the bottle for many years. Our latest vintages are even more refined thanks to our natural working methods, starting from the vineyard where we take care of the land and the vines with full respect for nature and our environment. Grapes are rigorously harvested by hand in baskets and immediately pressed. The must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Bottling takes place at least one year after fermentation.
